Mumbai – Celebrated author Amish Tripathi, renowned for his mythological fiction series, has acquired a premium property in the upscale Worli area of Mumbai for ₹13.65 crore, according to documents accessed by Square Yards.
The newly purchased property is situated within the prestigious World One project developed by the Lodha Group. This ready-to-move-in apartment spans approximately 251 square meters (2,700 square feet) of carpet area. The sale deed was finalized on July 4, incurring a stamp duty of ₹81.9 lakh and a transaction fee of ₹30,000. The property was secured through a primary sale from Macrotech Developers Limited, also known as the Lodha Group.
World One, a landmark project in South Mumbai, offers luxurious 3 BHK and 4 BHK residences, with some interiors designed by the esteemed luxury brand Armani/Casa. This acquisition highlights the continued appeal of Worli as a desirable residential locale.
Amish Tripathi, whose literary works such as the Shiva Trilogy and the Ram Chandra series have captivated readers globally, has sold over 7 million copies and his books have been translated into 20 languages. In September 2020, he ventured into production with an adaptation of his novel "Legend of Suheldev: The King Who Saved India" under Immortal Studios, in collaboration with Wakaoo Films and Casa Media.
Tripathi's latest documentary, "Ram Janmabhoomi: Return of a Splendid Sun," premiered on television on January 25, 2024, further showcasing his diverse creative pursuits.
The Lodha Group, synonymous with luxury real estate, recently sold two apartments in their Lodha Malabar project on Walkeshwar Road, Malabar Hill, for a combined ₹270 crore to Anil Gupta, chairman and managing director of Wellknown Polyesters Ltd.
