Amitabh Bachchan Buys plot In Ayodhya For Rs 14.5 Crores Ahead Of Ram Mandir Inauguration

Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan has reportedly purchased a plot in Ayodhya within The Sarayu, a 7-star mixed-use enclave developed by Mumbai-based firm The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL).

A Hindustan Times report stated that, while the builders have kept other details confidential, real estate industry sources claim that the property purchased by Big B is spread over 10,000 square feet and has a value of Rs 14.5 crores.

This news comes just days before the formal inauguration of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya. It is all set to take place on January 22 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Spread across 51 acres, The Sarayu is Amitabh Bachchan's chosen destination for a new home investment. In a statement, he expressed anticipation for this collaboration with The House of Abhinandan Lodha, emphasizing the emotional connection he feels with Ayodhya due to its timeless spirituality and cultural richness. Bachchan looks forward to building his home in this city, where tradition and modernity harmoniously coexist, creating a profound emotional tapestry in the global spiritual capital.

In January last year, House of Abhinandan Lodha announced its plans to invest Rs 3,000 crore in Uttar Pradesh to develop integrated townships. Out of the total planned investments, Rs 1,000 crore will be made in Ayodhya.
